Pilates For Beginners

How Pilates Works for You

Pilates is a complete mind and body experience. Pioneered by Joseph Pilates in the 1920's, and it delivers results on three key areas: core strength, increased flexibility and mobility.

I value authenticity and that is why I teach Pilates using the traditional Pilates method developed by Joseph Pilates himself. Pilates aims to connect the mind and body using a series of controlled movements, so that you learn to engage the deeper stabilizing muscles.  Pilates is often recommended by Physiotherapists and health professionals to improve and maintain postural alignment and stability.

Best of all, Pilates is suitable for all ages and all fitness abilities from beginners to professional atheletes. Under qualified instruction and guidance, Pilates challenges and uplifts you, providing numerous benefits for your mind, body and spirit.

"In 10 sessions, you feel better, 20 sessions you look better, 30 sessions you have a completely new body.” Joseph Pilates

"A very good informative teacher, who has a calming effect in her personality and voice. I did Pilates some years ago, but Suzette's class was a much better experience."

Jackie Meade, Binfield
